during my one-year stay in this research centre for art in Kitakyushu, Japan
(thanks to Fonds BKVB, now Mondriaanfonds, Amsterdam)

i developed works in new media: computer and stop motion animations,
incorporating text and body related imagery.
for the participants' catalog at the end of the year, i composed these pages:
a detail of a bodymap drawing, superimposed texts
and stills of ‘be-long-ing’ 1998, a whiteboard writing stop motion animation

piece visualising part of my research there: ‘JIN-kanjis of body and mind’ 1999/2000 (small flash site)
