inspired by Japanese script where Kanji mean things
i started looking into possible visual meanings of ‘our’ “Romaji” letters such as the “O” and “A” -
made during my residency (funded by Fonds BKVB now MondriaanFonds) in CCA Kitakyushu Japan 1998-1999
finetuned and edited as one of the ‘Bump!’ 2001 animations…
